Description
Tungsten Copper (CUW) is known for its good thermal and electrical conductivity, low thermal expansion, and resistance to impact corrosion. Therefore, they are often used as electrical contacts, especially in high voltage applications. Most sizes and shapes can be supplied with short lead times. We can also manufacture parts from these materials according to your requirements.
Advantages:
High arc resistance combined with good electrical conductivity
High thermal conductivity
Low temperature expansion
Applications:
Addressing vacuum contacts and contacts in high or medium voltage circuit breakers or vacuum breakers
Electrode clipping electrode (EDM)
Heat sink for passive cooling of electronic devices
Electrodes for resistance welding
